Sheree Whitfield On Her Relationship with Kim Zolciak-Biermann

ICYMI, Kim Zolciak-Biermann is slated to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta drama later this season. The Don't Be Tardy mom will make a cameo at a housewarming party hosted by Shereé Whitfield. While a preview for the appearance proves that Kim and Kenya Moore aren't exactly excited to see each other, it's clear that she and Shereé have buried their beef.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

"When you step back and you take time for yourself and you realize what's important — Kim and I were really cool, or even NeNe [Leakes], so you know that stuff was old. You can't harbor all the negative energy," she recently told The Daily Dish. "I just want to move forward, so we were able to move forward and be peaceful."

Shereé and Kim have certainly had some unforgettable encounters in the past (like that time Shereé pulled off Kim's wig), but she insists the past is and should be in the past. "[It's like], 'Why are we mad?' Like that was something that happened, what eight years ago? Why are we still mad?" she said. "It's just dumb."

This season, Shereé has faced off a bit with some of the ladies (Kenya, specifically), but she says that learning how to stay out most of the drama was the biggest lesson she learned during her hiatus from the show. "I'm usually a part of the drama or fighting when I was on before," she said. "I was either fighting with Kim or I was fighting with NeNe, so to be able to sit back and kind of, I want to say that I'm kind of facilitating something for these girls — like a conversation that needs to be had. They're talking about each other behind each others' backs and I'm kind of the voice of truth. So instead of being messy — some people say it's messy — I think it's just holding them accountable for their words. 'You guys, get together, talk about it. We don't all need to be there, but you guys need to have this conversation.'"

Shereé added that these days, she's OK with agreeing to disagree. "I think being away and coming back, you realize what's important and what's not important," she said. "You're not always going to agree with everybody or some of the things that they do, but I've learned how to pick my battles. And backstabbing is just something I've never been a part of and I don't want to be a part of it."
