Shereé Whitfield's mother, Thelma Ferguson, is missing, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared in a post on Instagram on April 8.

Shereé began her update asking fans to keep her mom and her family in their thoughts before opening up about the challenging time they are going through. "Please keep my mom and my family in your prayers! We all know that prayers can move mountains!!!" Shereé wrote. "I was hesitant to post my concerns for my mother's safe return because, although I have been in close contact with the police for the past two weeks, I'm also pretty private when it comes to my family."

Thelma was last seen by her family on March 23 after leaving her home in Sandy Springs, Georgia to go to the bank, according to police, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Shereé shared on Instagram that her mom has gone on vacation without notifying her family in the past. "However, this is the longest she [has] gone without reaching out to anyone from the family or her friends," she noted.

Shereé and her family have turned to prayer in these dark times, and she reminded everyone to cherish the moments they have with their loved ones. "Right now we are leaning on God and staying positive and prayerful for her safe return home. HOME is where the HEART is and prayer in numbers work," she said. "As we all continue to navigate through these uncertain times, remember the blessings of having each other.... Family is everything! I ask that everyone pray for my mother’s safe return home. And know that our family will be internally grateful."

She ended her post by asking anyone with information to call the Sandy Springs Police Department or email the detective handling the missing persons case. Shereé provided contact information for both in the post.

Shereé honored her mom by throwing her a '70s-themed birthday party in Season 10 of RHOA. "My mom definitely enjoyed her birthday. I think she was overwhelmed with such happy emotions. My mom is my hero; she always worked so hard to provide for me and our family," Shereé said of her mom in a post published in her BravoTV.com blog on December 4, 2017. "It felt good to be able to do this for her and make this milestone birthday so special for her. She had a smile on her face the entire night!"
