Shereé Whitfield's Missing Mother Has Been Found "Safe and Healthy"
The RHOA alum says her mom is "with family" again after being missing for over two weeks.
Shereé Whitfield’s mother, Thelma Ferguson, has been reunited with her family more than two weeks after she went missing. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum took to Instagram to confirm the joyous news, writing that her mom has been found “safe and healthy” and thanking fans for their ongoing support.
“Thank you for all the prayers, they WORKED!” Shereé wrote in a note shared on Instagram on April 10. “My mom has been found safe and healthy. She is with family now. I couldn’t have gotten through this without your support! GOD IS GOOD!”
She also captioned the post, “The power of prayer is UNdeniable!
On April 8, Shereé revealed that she and her family had been searching for her mother since she was last seen leaving her Georgia home to go to a local bank on March 23. Shereé said at the time that her mother often takes “personal vacations without letting the family know and we respect that side of her.” She went on to explain, “However, this is the longest she has gone without reaching out to anyone from the family or her friends."
Following her plea for information, Shereé was met with a flood of support from both fans and her former fellow RHOA ‘Wives. In response, she shared a message of gratitude earlier in the day on April 10, writing, “I truly appreciate the outpouring of love, support and prayers for my mother’s safe return home. I know this no doubt will move mountains and bring her home. My family and I are humbly thankful for each and every post, repost, notification, text, and phone call.”
