Why did Vanderpump Rules get a new series intro?
The Bravo series received a new intro just in time for the epic Season 11 premiere, but this isn’t the first time Vanderpump Rules got an updated opening credit. During Season 10, showrunner Jeremiah Smith explained to The Wrap why Vanderpump Rules took on a new look and why he wanted to shine a spotlight on a few of the businesses the cast owned or worked at.
“The universe that the show exists in has gone from one restaurant to four,” he shared. “I wanted the main titles to show off the whole ‘Vanderverse,’ as I call it. I wanted to include Schwartz & Sandy’s, Tom Tom, and SUR.”
While Jeremiah championed a new series intro, he was adamant about not changing the show’s opening theme song.
“When you hear that song, you immediately know what show is on TV. You immediately know [what] you’re in for. So we decided to keep that and just change up the visuals,” he said. “I love the song.”
You can watch the series’ opening title and sing along to the theme song weekly by tuning into Vanderpump Rules Season 11 on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo (the new season premieres this week). Stream episodes the next day (and catch up on Seasons 1 through 10) on Peacock.
