Sonja Morgan Gave An Update on Her Fling from Welcome to Crappie Lake at BravoCon 2023
The Real Housewives of New York City alum previously found a little romance in Benton, Illinois.
If, like us, you can't get enough of Sonja Morgan's love life, you're in luck. Bravo fans have been lucky enough to see Sonjarita in action since she joined The Real Housewives of New York City for Season 3 in 2010, with her excellent flirting skills carrying over to Luann & Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake in 2023.
Unsurprisingly, Sonja found romance only two episodes into the series — and she and her fling are still keeping in touch.

During the "Dynamic Duo & The Tres Amigas" live interview at BravoCon 2023, The Real Housewives of Orange County's Shannon Beador asked Sonja where things stand with her former fling. Moderated by Daryn Carp, the Sunday, November 5 conversation featured beloved Bravolebs from both coasts: RHONY alums Sonja and Luann de Lesseps as well as The Real Housewives of Orange County's "tres amigas," Shannon, Vicki Gunvalson, and Tamra Judge.
"Sonja, have you kept in touch with the man you met at the bar?" Shannon asked, prompting a quick reply from the New Yorker.
"Yes. The problem is, if I text you, you have to be there in 10 minutes. This guy drives his truck all the way from Florida anywhere, and he always brings his dog. So I was like, 'OK..." said Sonja.
Another problem? He doesn't like to fly.
"He does not come to New York," she added. "Who can do that? I mean, I'll do almost anything, but I'm not gonna do somebody that doesn't fly."
Naturally, things were more convenient when Sonja met the man in Benton, Illinois. During Episode 2 of Crappie Lake, Sonja spent the night with the local after meeting in a bar. “I was like, 'Holy f-ck!' I got my pipes cleaned," she told her BFF Luann the next morning.
“I could see that you were all into him. So I was like, I'm gonna let her have that one," the Countess said in the episode, proving her excellent wing-woman status. "You're grinning from ear to ear. I love it you got laid ... now it’s my turn."
