Craig Conover Made a Movie, and Paige DeSorbo Helped Out in a Major Way

The Southern Charm cast member thanked his Summer House girlfriend for her support — and here’s why!

Craig Conover has been busy, and not just eating and defending soup. The Southern Charm cast member is still running his lifestyle brand, Sewing Down South, he just opened a restaurant (more on that later), and he is taking frequent trips to New York City to visit his girlfriend, Summer House cast member Paige DeSorbo. On top of all that, Craig just made a movie — and Paige helped him out in a major way.

How to Watch

Watch Southern Charm on Peacock and the Bravo App.

In an April 3 Instagram post, Craig shared a slew of photos that showed him on a boat, which turned out to be on a film set. In his caption, the Charleston native wrote: “Such an incredible experience being a part of this movie. It took months of preparation and stepping outside of my comfort zone but I think I have a new love. I can’t say enough about the team that I worked with, and cannot thank them enough for making my first movie experience an incredible one.”

Paige entered the chat with a cheeky comment. “And to my amazing girlfriend who read lines with me even after uttering these very important words … ‘but love island legit just got good.’” Craig responded to Paige’s comment with some words of high praise: “You shine brighter on my audition tapes than me,” he wrote.

Craig also shared a tribute to Paige on his Instagram Stories. Showing a cute photo of her laughing in a cozy black coat, the sewing savant wrote, “We don’t post a lot together but she’s always by my side. It was really awesome having her on set with me.” He added: “If anyone needs someone to run lines with, she’s your gal.”

Now back to that restaurant. Craig teamed up with his good friend and Southern Charm castmate Austen Kroll on the foodie venture, and we have the delicious details.

The newly minted restaurateurs announced their plans to open an eatery called Carriage House last August. And now those plans have become a reality. The restaurant opened in New York City’s West Village on March 29.

According to Gotham Magazine, the menu features childhood classics with a twist. Think Peanut Butter and Jelly, Duck TV Dinner, and Tuna Casserole, made with high-quality ingredients and French cooking techniques.

We presume that Paige will be a regular.
