Shep Just Compared Austen's Budding Romance with Olivia to Another One of Austen's Past Relationships (UPDATED)
We have some scoop on the Southern Charm pair from their inner circle as well as his ex, Madison LeCroy.
UPDATED (July 15, 12:02 P.M.): When Madison LeCroy appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on July 14, she opened up about her former boyfriend, Austen Kroll, spilling all sorts of details about "their evolution," as Andy Cohen put it, including her thoughts on if she thinks Olivia Flowers is a good match for him, the last text they exchanged, as well as other hot topics including Austen's parents reaction to her engagement to Brett (the clip featuring that reaction is at the bottom of this post), as well as a few more details about both her relationships to Austen and Brett.

Season 8 of Southern Charm has followed Austen Kroll's courtship with Olivia Flowers now that he's back on the dating scene following his split from Madison LeCroy.
In fact, Austen shared his feelings about Olivia in a heart-to-heart with Craig Conover featured in the July 14 episode (clip above). "She's very cool. And she's chill. And she's level-headed," he told Craig while the guys were out golfing.
From there, Austen opened up about what he hopes happens next: "Yeah, I do [want to hang out with her]. We hang out with Shep [Rose] and [his girlfriend] Taylor [Ann Green] a lot. We haven't gotten much one-on-one time, and I'm kind of keeping it that way. I don't want to fast-track anything. Her vibe is that she is confused as s---t by me... and I don't blame her."

When Shep caught up with The Daily Dish recently, he noted that the Southern Charm newbie, who has caught Austen's eye, is "wonderful," adding, "She’s just really kind and sweet. She and Taylor are great friends. One thing, one challenge I would say, is Olivia is sort of a homebody, and Austen’s sort of a social animal."
From there, Shep compared their dynamic to one that Austen had with another ex (not the one you're thinking, probably). "That’s sort of the same thing you could say about Chelsea [Meissner] when [they] dated," Shep said. "And so, as we were saying earlier, we’re all growing up. We’re not all that interested in running up and down King Street with our shirts twirling over our heads like we did. So maybe that’s [the] right direction to be pushed in for Austen... I don't think there’s any denying in his mind that, how starkly different Olivia is, and how kind and good she is."
