Patricia Altschul Shares What Her Son, Whitney Sudler-Smith, Is Up to Today
The Southern Charm matriarch also marked a special occasion for her son in the most precious way.
Patricia Altschul is sharing the latest update on what her son, Whitney Sudler-Smith, has been up to these days. The Southern Charm matriarch recently bestowed her son with heartfelt praise on Instagram for his most recent undertaking, and revealed a surprising detail while marking Whitney’s special day in a sweet birthday tribute.
“Happy birthday to my sweet, talented son who is working in London to bring you more great TV,” Patricia wrote in her June 2 post, which featured a heartwarming photo of the mother-son duo.
Patricia also shared a fun fact about Whitney — the Southern Charm-er has the exact same birthday as none other than Andy Cohen himself! “Also to [Andy] born on the same day and year,” she added to the caption of her post.
Patricia’s birthday tribute to her son continued with the most adorable photo of Whitney as a baby, which Patricia shared on her Instagram Story.
Recently, Patricia shared another sweet mother-son moment with Whitney back home in Charleston. “A visit with the esteemed ladies seen in the back….lady Jane Spencer Churchill and lady Emily Astor from England,” she wrote in the caption of her post, alongside a photo of her son and their honorary guests.
Several months ago, Whitney also gave a glimpse at his life in London, which included a lavish dinner and a peek inside the fabulous Claridge’s hotel.
“Sunday Roast and Hijiinx with the lads,” he wrote in the caption of his post.
And of course, Whitney couldn’t help but put his classically trained musician skills on display with a post showcasing his guitar-playing abilities.
Fans can see more of Patricia and Whitney, as well as the rest of the Southern Charm cast and their friends, when Season 8 premieres on Thursday, June 23, at 9/8c with a supersize episode.
