Daily Dish Southern Hospitality Maddi Reese Grace Lilly Rivalry Scoop

Southern Hospitality’s Maddi Reese and Grace Lilly may be co-workers, but they don’t exactly work well together.

How to Watch

Watch the Season 3 premiere of Southern Hospitality on Thursday, January 2 at 9/8c on Bravo and next day on Peacock.

That wasn’t always the case, though. As Maddi explains in this first-look clip of tonight’s premiere, “There was a time where Grace and I were best friends. She used to live at my house for a couple months. Boys would flood to us, and we would always like to party.”

Things apparently changed when Maddi became a VIP manager at Republic, the restaurant owned by Southern Charm’s Leva Bonaparte and her husband, Lamar, where Grace also works as a VIP concierge.

“As soon as I came into Republic, I grew very quickly and took the reins,” Maddi says. “[I] became queen of everything, and Grace is just jealous.”

Eventually, Leva had to step in. “The rivalry between Maddi and Grace got so bad that they were throwing water bottles at each other,” she reveals. “I had two drowned rats coming back to work at the front of Republic.”

Her solution? “I separated them just like you do two toddlers,” Leva says, adding that she’s “keeping Maddi busy at Republic,” while Grace is mostly working at another restaurant she owns, Bourbon N’ Bubbles.

The temporary solution is just that, though — especially since Maddi isn’t the only staff member who has issues with Grace. Mia Alario and Will Kulp are among those who complain about Grace in the first look, with the latter telling Leva, “She’s taken three of the last five weekends off to go on trips.”

However, Leva responds, “Listen, in my workspace, I can’t fire somebody for your feelings about them.”

Watch the Southern Hospitality premiere on Bravo on Monday, November 28, at 9/8c and the next day on Peacock and the Bravo app.
