Ciara Miller and Paige DeSorbo Share an Update on Their Friendship with Lindsay Hubbard

Paige DeSorbo and Ciara Miller were asked several questions about their Summer House castmate Lindsay Hubbard during Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on April 10, and they got real honest, real quick.

Kicking things off was a viewer-submitted question, which read, “Last season, you both targeted Lindsay for drinking and partying too much. This season, you both targeted Lindsay for not partying and drinking as much. Why the flip-flop and is it just that you both don’t like Lindsay?”

Responded Paige, “I’ve never targeted her for anything, I feel like.”

Ciara, meanwhile, acknowledged that she and Lindsay have indeed had problems in the past — largely due to Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll — but even then, “I did not target her for drinking,” Ciara said. “That was not the subject at hand.” 

Turning the focus to the present, Andy then asked Ciara and Paige another viewer-submitted question, this one centered on Lindsay and Carl Radke’s relationship. The inquiry read, “Can you both understand how it looks from the viewer perspective when Lindsay and Carl seem happy with each other, yet the members of the house are nitpicking everything they do?”

Paige, however, didn’t necessarily agree with the question’s sentiment. “I could see how people are like, ‘Oh, it’s very flip-floppy,’ but I think really what the house was getting annoyed at was, like, their facade,” she explained. “Like, they’re so happy.”

She’s not saying they’re not happy, though. “I’m sure they are very happy, but I think everything they do is very planned,” Paige added. “Like, ‘We’re happy! And don’t say anything else about it.’”

If that’s the case, Danielle Olivera hasn’t followed suit, as fans have watched her repeatedly voice her concerns about how quickly Lindsay and Carl are moving throughout Summer House Season 7.

Paige, meanwhile, doesn’t think that’s really the case. As she explained on WWHL, “I think if you ask anyone, like if Joe and Sally on the street got engaged after seven months, you’d be like, ‘Oh my god, a little fast.’ But I think they have known each other for so many years.”

“I wasn’t shocked they got engaged,” she continued. “They said they want to get engaged on TV [and] they want to get married on TV, so it was like, obviously, they were gonna do it.”
