Ciara and Paige Take Sides in Danielle and Lindsay’s Summer House Feud

The temperature isn’t the only thing that’s rising on Summer House Season 7 — the tension between onetime best friends Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera is quickly heating up too.

On the show so far, Danielle has questioned how fast Lindsay has been moving in her relationship with Carl Radke, and she’s wondered why the two seem to avoid discussing difficult topics. Lindsay, on the other hand, hasn’t felt supported by her best friend and feels like Danielle wants to hold her back from growing as a person.

Fans are now witnessing how the two got to an “unfortunate” place in their friendship last summer, and some of their Summer House–mates are taking sides in the matter.

On the April 10 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Paige DeSorbo and Ciara Miller (who recently formed a friendship with Danielle after a prior disagreement) opened up about why they agreed with the fashion app co-founder over Lindsay.

Paige noted that she was neutral for a while, even after Kyle Cooke’s 40th birthday party, but she eventually felt herself aligning with Danielle.

“After the party, I was pretty even, but I’m on Danielle’s side,” she revealed, though she later acknowledged that Danielle can have “an intense approach sometimes” when she brings up her issues with Lindsay. Ciara agreed with the fashion contributor.

“Yeah, I’m on Danielle’s side,” the model said.

Later in the WWHL episode, Paige offered Lindsay some advice about how she could get back on track in her friendship with Danielle ahead of her fall wedding. “Maybe call her,” Paige said about what the appropriate “olive branch” might be for the two to repair their relationship. As Lindsay herself said on a February episode of WWHL, she’s “hopeful” that she can mend her friendship with Danielle in time for her November nuptials.

“As far as public[ly] mending our friendship, I think the challenge is that we haven’t really seen each other,” Lindsay said during her winter WWHL appearance, before referencing Danielle’s recent breakup from Robert Sieber. “From what I’ve heard, she is working through some things in her personal life, and we’re planning a wedding, so I think that just, right now, we’re just on different paths.”

While chatting with The Daily Dish, Danielle said it was “awesome” to hear that Lindsay wanted to work on their friendship, but that “actions speak louder than words.”

“I’m going through a lot in my life right now, and it would be great to have her,” Danielle said. “But I think I’m going to leave it in her court, because I think I’ve done enough on my end. I’ve said what I needed to say. Time will tell, but I haven’t heard from her, so that, I think, says a lot.”

It remains to be seen if Danielle and Lindsay will ever be able to become friends again.
