In the Season 8 premiere, we saw cast members Amanda BatulaKyle CookeLindsay HubbardCarl RadkePaige DeSorboCiara MillerDanielle Olivera, and Gabby Prescod all returning for the season, with newcomers Jesse Solomon and West Wilson adding to the mix.

For the February 22 episode, the cast (minus Lindsay and Carl, for reasons explained here) headed to the Hamptons house and were pleased to find a few updates. Keep scrolling to find out how the Summer House property was changed for Season 8!

The Summer House Season 8 home upgrades and changes

In Season 7, Episode 1, which aired on February 13, 2023, Kyle revealed some frustrating details about the house that summer. "The Hamptons: known for old money, also old laws. Our house just so happens to be zoned for five bedrooms — not nine," Kyle explained, noting that "four of the bedrooms" were "not useable," leaving most of the cast to be paired up in shared bedrooms.

For Season 8, however, things have changed.

When Paige, Danielle, Gabby, and Ciara arrived at the house, one of the ladies asked if they all had their "own room" that year. Danielle responded by pointing out that the house had been "rezoned" to accommodate more bedroom space for everyone, meaning the six single cast members and two couples at the time could all have their own rooms.

Additionally, one of the front rooms was updated with some new decor, including a black-and-white-patterned area rug giving the space a new vibrant look and a cream-colored sofa with grey- and salmon-colored pillows replacing a desk in front of the window. We also noticed a new plant in the corner and some colorful wall art dotting the space.

Moreover, the two chairs were replaced with a white bar with black bar stools, making for an epic entertaining space.
