Kyle Cooke Admits That He Was "Not Fun" This Season of Summer House

Kyle Cooke is not holding back when it comes to reflecting on his recent summer in the Hamptons which, as it turns out, wasn't always fun.  The Summer House cast member definitely dealt with his fair share of drama, as viewers saw unfold during Season 6 of Summer House, which included his issues involving his relationship with Amanda Batula, discussions about a prenup, and the stresses related to his financial situation.

Recently, Kyle took to Instagram to spill on his "rough" summer in the Hamptons. "Summer should be fun! Kyle, not fun. There — I said it," he wrote in the caption of his April 25 post, which featured a moment from the April 18 episode during a tense dinner with his Hamptons roommates, and referenced the Summer House roomie's very own unforgettable line delivered in the midst of drama with Amanda during Season 2.

He went on to reveal just how much the challenges of last year had affected him, writing, "I’m fully aware that I had a rough summer, but I’m grateful for whatever patience and understanding comes my way. 14 episodes of reliving the most stressful time of our lives with Amanda has been a doozy of an experience in [and] of itself. This reality gig is not for the faint of heart!"

Speaking of that emotional dinner, Kyle had revealed the extent of his financial troubles to his Hamptons roomies at the time, saying, "I’m in a lawsuit. I’ve spent $200,000 on legal fees this month. I’m $4 million in debt with the loan for my business. Everything is on the line."

He recently referenced that dinner in another post on Instagram, writing, "Sometimes you slam the table. Other times you flip it. What would you do?"

Kyle also shared a fun capture from the summer with Amanda and Lindsay Hubbard at the beach, writing, "Sometimes you say things that come off wrong, are poorly timed, or are misunderstood. Sometimes you’re also just wrong. Nothing but [love] here."

Earlier this month, Kyle showed lots of love for Amanda with a sweet snapshot of the couple together, writing in the caption of his April 12 post, "Still here, still smilin’, still [kissing face emoji]."
