Andy Cohen Is Fully Shocked by New Info About the Summer House New Year's Eve Party Drama
Here's another reason why Hannah Berner may not have gotten an invite from Lindsay Hubbard.
Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen has become the place to find out new revelations about the New Year's Eve party invite drama between Lindsay Hubbard and Hannah Berner.
During Hannah's appearance on the late night talk show earlier this month, her fellow WWHL guest, Austen Kroll, alleged that Lindsay had told him she didn't invite Hannah to the December 2019 bash, even though she invited nearly all of her other Summer House friends. It was revealed in the Summer House Season 5 premiere that Lindsay didn't invite Hannah to the party because she was "talking s--t" about her on a podcast.
Then, when Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula appeared in the latest episode of WWHL on February 18, they shared that the New Year's Eve party was actually more exclusive than we knew.
When one virtual audience member asked the couple if Lindsay was being "petty" by not inviting Hannah, Kyle explained in the above clip, "I mean, it's a little give or take about what's petty, what's not. The one thing that hasn't been discussed is we only had so many tickets, and they were $10,000 apiece."
After Andy Cohen's jaw dropped at that price tag, the WWHL host noted that was some "huge" intel about the party at the center of this Summer House drama. "That's new information," Kyle confirmed. "So she only had so many tickets to give."
So, what made this party's entry fee so expensive, you ask? "It was literally looking down on Times Square. We felt very fortunate to be there back when we could all party together," Kyle recalled, adding that there were also some celebrity guests. "Poison was like three feet away."
After Andy seemed dubious about the ticket price, Kyle agreed, "It was a ridiculous price." However, Kyle noted that it perhaps helps to explain why Lindsay didn't invite Hannah that night. "But that's a fun, little nugget of information," he said. "It wasn't like [Lindsay] could get as many tickets as she wanted."
Lindsay previously shared a photo from the New Year's Eve 2019 party on Instagram featuring herself, boyfriend Stephen Traversie, Kyle, Amanda, Carl Radke, Danielle Olivera, and Luke Gulbranson, along with some other friends.
Hannah's lack of an invite to the soirée caused some tension between her and Lindsay early on this season of Summer House because Luke was invited and "he basically was my boyfriend" at the time, Hannah explained in an interview in the Season 5 premiere. Hannah went on to allege that Lindsay tried to get Luke and Danielle to "hook up" at the party, which Lindsay denied, although Danielle admitted that she and Luke did make out that night.
The Summer House ladies eventually resolved their issues during a one-on-one conversation in which Hannah vowed to "work on our friendship to build trust again."
