Is Paige DeSorbo Ready to Take the “Next Step” with Craig Conover? She Says…

Paige DeSorbo was preparing to turn 30 as well as ring in her first dating anniversary with Craig Conover when Summer House Season 7 was filmed, but she wasn’t going to let any societal milestones get in the way of doing what she wanted to do.

Since the New Yorker started dating the Southern Charm-er in the fall of 2021, the two have been in a long-distance relationship (except for the two weeks they spent together in Vermont for Winter House). While both Craig and Paige have sung the praises of having separate spaces in different states, the distance was weighing on Craig more as the two approached their big anniversary.

In a preview of Episode 7, which will air on March 27, Craig asks Paige to consider spending more time with him in Charleston.

“I’m going to start coming down more,” Paige tells her beau, who admits that it’s “been a while” since the fashionista was last in Charleston.

“When I go down to Charleston, not having you there for the weekend is tough for a couple of days, because I do miss you,” Craig explains. “You know, I do love coming up here too, but, I don’t know, have you ever thought what the next step even looks like?”

Paige tells Craig that she “[doesn’t] want to change anything” at the moment because she’s “very content” with her life and where they are in their relationship.

The Sewing Down South founder also isn’t in a tremendous rush to make a permanent change, but he does wonder “how long” he and Paige can keep dating long-distance.

“I like my life the way it is right now. I love my friends. I love my career. I love living in New York. Why would I want to change it because our one-year anniversary is coming up, or my 30th birthday is coming up?” Paige asks in an interview. “Like, it’s just [that] I’m not ready… Don’t make me grow up. I don’t want to.”

Though Craig says he has become “pretty good at the travel thing,” there is one aspect of flying back and forth that he admits “does suck.” Check out the video above to find out what it is (and to learn what else the couple had to say about the status of their relationship).
