There's Actually a Good Reason Why Lauren Wirkus Gave Carl Radke a Second Chance

It's been difficult for some Summer House fans to wrap their heads around the fact that Lauren Wirkus and Carl Radke have reignited their romance this season since things didn't work out too well for the two of them the first time around. However, there's something huge that we're missing about their relationship, according to Lauren. 

The Summer House roomie enlightened fans on why she thought things might be different this time when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Monday night. "We do have a connection and chemistry, and I'm just a regular human chick, what can I say?" Lauren explains during the After Show in the above clip.

Lauren has often clapped back at those who criticize her actions with Carl this season of Summer House. "This was a long week but we made it. Thank you to everyone who supported me this week and always. It is sometimes not easy to watch yourself portrayed on TV and hindsight is always 20/20," she wrote in one recent Instagram post. "To those who were quick to judge me, remember that life is full of ups and downs and none of us are perfect (not even those guys we like that we maybe shouldn't!). We have all made mistakes, done things we wish we could take back, and at times valued ourselves less than we should have. I am grateful for these moments because they allow us to reflect, better ourselves, and grow. But no matter what happens in life or what people say it should never break your spirit. This Friday I am all smiles and full of positivity for the future and I hope you are too. Let's send it this weekend! #SummerHouse #wordswillneverbreakme."

So what is Lauren going to do to make sure she doesn't make the same mistake twice (or rather, a third time)? "You know, it is a little hard, but I am currently not in a relationship. I'm single. I'm open. I am looking for somebody, so send him my way," she said during the WWHL After Show (clip above). "You know, it is hard sometimes to stay away. Every girl has been there. And I am very open and honest with my feelings. I had an attachment with someone, and it was hard to break." 

Now that it's been several months since the end of last summer, a lot has changed between Carl and Lauren. Carl gave an update on his current relationship status with Lauren when he appeared on WWHL last week. Check it out, below.
