XSCAPE brought the drama to SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of SWV but SWV’s Cheryl “Coko” Gamble added a little of her own during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Coko confessed that her bandmate Tamara “Taj” Johnson-George was the most likely of the three members of SWV to have “talked more crap about XSCAPE” while the two groups worked together to pull off a collaborative one-night performance.

Coko reluctantly made the admission during a game of “Spill the SW-Tea.” During the game, host Andy Cohen asked Coko a series of rapid-fire questions about whether her groupmates Taj or Leanne “Lelee” Lyons were the more likely fit.

“Who talked more crap about XSCAPE behind their back?” Cohen asked at one point.

A conflicted Coko paused before laughing and then quietly saying, “Taj.”

The two girl groups joined forces for an epic one-night performance in Los Angeles that brought back vibes of the ‘90s, but the road to the stage was anything but smooth.

XSCAPE struggled with their own internal turmoil as the Scott sisters, LaTocha Scott-Bivens and Tamika Scott, faced off about accusations of body shaming and stolen money.

And the two powerhouse groups didn’t always see eye-to-eye about how the event should be promoted (XSCAPE wanted to be the sole headliner, but they later agreed to co-headline) or which group should sing the final song of the night (XSCAPE won out with their hit “Understanding”).

Tensions between the two groups were visibly high during the tech rehearsal for the show, when the polished ladies of SWV got frustrated by the delays in moving through the performance. And Taj wasn’t shy about letting her feelings known.

“We’ve got 20 minutes to get this show together and I can’t even front, I’m at my wits end with this s--t right now,” she burst out.

The ladies put their drama aside to pull off the show-stopping performance, but on WWHL Coko still threw a little shade XSCAPE’s way.

“Who do you think the ladies of XSCAPE respect more?” Andy asked.

“None of us,” Coko said before breaking into a laugh.

In response, LaTocha, who also appeared on the show, rolled her eyes and said, “Oh my god.”

As for the other questions posed by Andy, Coko crowned Taj the “bigger diva” and person with “more personal celebrity numbers in her phone,” while bandmate Lelee earned the honors of “better vocal range,” “worst dancer,” and “shows up later to rehearsals” more often.

And there was one recognition that Coko reserved just for herself.

“Who has the better wardrobe?” Cohen asked.

“I’m not up there,” Coko replied.

As soon as Andy told her she was allowed to pick herself, Coko quickly replied, “Well, me!”
