Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Confirms Gender of Her Baby with a Super-Sweet Reveal
The RHOBH accountability coach also shared her son's unusual name choice for the new baby.
Pregnant Real Housewives of Beverly Hills accountability coach Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave gathered up those closest to her for a super-sweet gender reveal — but don't worry if you somehow didn't score an invite, she shared the moment on her Instagram. And... it's a girl!
The new baby will join an already bustling household as Teddi is a mom to two kids with husband Edwin Arroyave, Slate and Cruz; she's also a stepmom to his daughter, Isabella, from a previous relationship.
Apparently little Cruz shares his mama's penchant for unusual names, as she also shared on Instagram.
"It’s a girl! Of course, we would have been equally excited either way, as [Edwin], the kids and I are just blessed to have a healthy baby no matter the gender. Although I did promise Cruz he could help name her so not sure she’ll be too thrilled being called 'Catboy' Arroyave," she captioned the moment on Instagram.
Teddi first confirmed she was expecting another child last month. She later shared that the news she was going to be a mom again wasn't exactly something she and her husband had been actively planning, considering she had undergone IVF with her first two pregnancies and not for this third one.
She noted in an interview with Us Weekly that "this time we really weren’t doing anything! I was on vacation! Just having fun with my family! It was a complete surprise. I didn’t even know I was because I didn’t have a regular cycle.”
And, yes, you can bet she's excited. She also told the publication previously that she and her husband are “over the moon."
