Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Says Dove's Post Surgery Recovery Proves "How Resilient Kids Are"
The RHOBH mom opened up about her daughter's progress after last week's procedure.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's daughter Dove is recovering ahead of schedule following her neurosurgery last week, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom revealed in an update on how her baby daughter is doing following her procedure.
"It’s crazy how resilient kids are. Dove is going into Day 4 post neurosurgery with both eyes open. The swelling went down, she passed all her markers and we have been sent home much earlier than expected. I am so grateful for so many things and feeling really blessed. We love you so much baby Dove and know you are going to live whatever life you dream of," Teddi wrote on Instagram, along with a video of her grooving to Taylor Swift with her little baby.
Teddi opened up about Dove's Lambdoid Craniosynostosis diagnosis earlier this summer. According to the Mayo Clinic, Lambdoid Craniosynostosis "is a birth defect in which one or more of the fibrous joints between the bones of your baby's skull (cranial sutures) close prematurely (fuse), before your baby's brain is fully formed. Brain growth continues, giving the head a misshapen appearance."
