The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave shared an update on her son Cruz's life these days. On Instagram, she shared that he's currently getting an underbite fixed and has to wear headgear to correct it. Teddi shared a photo of her son wearing the device, along with a sweet message for him.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesday, November 19 at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

"I mean…no words. Grateful he is loving it. Chow is getting his [underbite] fixed and has to wear this at bedtime and when he is home relaxing. How long until the novelty wears off and he will want to stop wearing?" she captioned the photo, along with "brave boy" and "chick magnet."

Earlier this summer, Teddi opened up about her son's sleep issues, noting back in June that "we are going on 2[-plus] years of Cruz not being able to sleep in his own room due to his fears of the unknown. He either sleeps with us or on Slate’s top bunk. We have tried meditating, reading, sound machines, doing positive 'what if’s,' therapy, oil diffuser and following a sleep routine," she wrote, adding, "I absolutely love these morning cuddles but I think it’s time to try getting him in his own room again."

Teddi asked her followers for some advice on how to deal with the issue, and she later shared an update on the matter.

"We got so many suggestions from y’all on helping us get Cruz to sleep in his room and I cannot thank you enough!" she wrote. "It’s now Day 4 of successful sleeps on his own. Here’s what worked: We started with Cruz’s bed right outside our bedroom, then moved it closer and closer until it was back in his room. We also put the dogs to sleep with him so they can 'protect' him. We got him a Vivofit Jr watch which tracks his sleep and allows us to give him a 'coin' each night he completes. Lastly, we let him watch TV with no sound while he tries to fall asleep, then turn it off once he does."

This summer, Teddi also took some time out to go on a trip with Cruz to Terranea in California, and she shared some sweet highlights from the vacation. "Cruz has been asking for years for a mother/son trip. We finally did it," she wrote. "So many adventures and snuggles. Of course last night as we were falling asleep he said, 'I miss Slate. She would have loved this.'"

Teddi is definitely not shy when it comes to sharing updates on how her and Cruz get in some bonding time. "Tonight we are watching the finale of Cobra Kai. Obsessed!" she said. "Cruz said I remind him of Ali Mills which is kind of spooky because that is the same thing [Edwin] said to me when we met at the club 12 years ago. What do we watch next?!"

It's been an interesting week in Teddi's house. The latest news on Cruz comes shortly after Teddi revealed she had fallen following an incident with vertigo that left her face bruised.
