We Have a Huge Update on Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Sutton Stracke

They say first impressions are important, and well, everyone certainly took note of Sutton Stracke's first impression of Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave during Kyle Richards' dinner party earlier this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Sutton admitted that she thought Teddi was "gonna be a little boring" when she first met her.

"Sutton hadn't taken the chance to get to know me or anything like that," Teddi said of the moment during Part 1 of the RHOBH Season 10 reunion on September 2. "I think she decided the second she saw me in my 'cute, little black romper' that she had an issue."

What Teddi is referring to there is when Sutton called Teddi's black romper "cute" in an interview earlier this season after they first met during the ladies' trip to New York Fashion Week. But Teddi explained during the reunion that it wasn't being called "boring" that really upset her. "It was the, 'Ugh, even worse pregnant,' because that's when I actually broke down because something I'm so grateful for and to me is such a miracle, you're like mocking and it's a bad thing," Teddi said. "Kind of like, eff off, you don't even know me."

Sutton explained at the reunion that she is used to joking like that with her other friends. "I have apologized for that because I really was just trying to be funny and silly," Sutton told Teddi.

When Teddi confronted Sutton about poking fun at her sartorial choices, Sutton said, "Are you gonna let my small disdain for your clothes get in the way of our friendship? That's silly."

Teddi and Sutton kind of left things there during Part 1 of the reunion. But we are happy to confirm that they aren't letting a little black romper get in the way of their friendship these days. When one fan asked Teddi on Twitter if she and Sutton are "getting along," she replied, "Yes! We have gotten past her disdain for my maternity clothing."

While reflecting on watching herself in her first season of RHOBH, Sutton shared during the reunion that she may have been too blunt in some of her comments. "I think we all have insecurities, and mine definitely came out in the beginning," she said. "And so, I really did tense up, and I think I did kind of look like an a--hole. I looked like a snotty a--hole. But that's not who I am."
