Here's How Gabriella Giudice Spent Her Last Night at Home Before Going to College

Teresa Giudice's daughter had a sweet night with her family before heading to the University of Michigan.

By Abby Feiner

After an exciting senior year of high school that included going to prom, celebrating her college acceptance with a "bed party," and, most recently, her graduation, the time has officially come for Gabriella Giudice to start her freshman year at the University of Michigan. But before Teresa Giudice's daughter left the Garden State on August 22, her family gave her the sweetest sendoff at home.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/7c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

In an August 21 Instagram Story video, Teresa showed what she had cooked for the evening and explained, "I just made Gabriella her last dinner: chicken with spinach." Hours later, she shared in a separate clip, "We're having ice cream as a famiglia." As she turned the camera to show Gabriella, Teresa said, "She's leaving tomorrow...I'm sad. I love you."

The next morning, Gia Giudice shared a photo of Gabriella sitting in the back of a car getting ready to leave their family's house. "[University of Michigan] just got really lucky," she wrote. "I love you sister." Shortly after, as Teresa, Gabriella, and Luis "Louie" Ruelas headed to the airport, Teresa exclaimed, "University of Michigan, here we come!"

How Gabriella Giudice celebrated getting accepted to the University of Michigan

In May, Gabriella's family helped her celebrate the next chapter of her education with an over-the-top "bed party." Her bed was covered in school merch such as t-shirts, shorts, sneakers, sweatshirts, and more. The room was filled with blue-and-yellow balloons, as well as gold balloons that spelled out "MICH." No party of Teresa's is complete without a lavish dessert, so, of course, there were also some sweet treats, including a cake and cupcakes.

When Gabriella made the decision to go to the school in March, Teresa gushed over her daughter in an Instagram post. “I loved you from the moment you opened your eyes,” she wrote. "You are a joy, a wonderful daughter, a voice of reason, the greatest big sister. You, Gabriella, will go on to do great things. You are so kind, inclusive, [and] organized! My mind soars with possibilities for you. Congrats my gorgeous girl[.] Michigan — WOW.”
