The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Shamea Morton Welcomes a Baby Girl: "I’m Officially a MOM!"
"Child birth is nothing short of a miracle," Shamea gushed.
There's a new addition to The Real Housewives of Atlanta family. Shamea Morton welcomed her first child, daughter Shya Nyambura Mwangi, on Sunday, November 25.
The RHOA pal shared the happy news on Instagram Thursday in a post that featured a photo of her looking like a goddess in a bath surrounded by flowers. "I’m officially a MOM! I have a whole new respect for women and our bodies. Child birth is nothing short of a miracle. I feel so blessed to have had this experience," she gushed in the post. "I don’t take my life nor my child’s life for granted. A 'Birthday' has a whole new meaning to me now. Whew!"
Shamea announced that she was expecting her first child with husband Gerald Mwangi in May. She later shared that the couple would be welcoming a baby girl at a gender reveal party attended by Atlanta Housewives Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, and Porsha Williams. “I hope she’s a mini-me. I do girls really well,” Shamea told Us Weekly in July, adding that her husband was "overjoyed" to be welcoming a little girl. “He already calls her his princess."
Since then, Shamea has shared the most gorgeous photos of herself and her baby bump. She has even gone on glam girls' nights out with fellow first-time mom Porsha.
Now we can't wait to see the first pics of Shamea's little one!
