Dorinda Doesn't Want to Hear About Sonja's Past Anymore

Following her heated exchange with Dorinda Medley in the Hamptons earlier this season of The Real Housewives of New York City (clip above), Sonja Morgan is sounding off on the discussion and what the future holds for their friendship on Twitter. And she's not holding back one bit.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

The RHONY mom took a break from her vacation in Bali to address all of the drama surrounding her so far this season, starting with the conversation about her divorce and Dorinda's late husband. "I never brought up her husband she did.  I never would. [And didn't] compare," Sonja tweeted. "I also wouldn’t repeat rumors, Yes rumors about her marriage. It’s shameful. She doesn’t know what happened in my marriage."

She went on to comment on why her marriage ended in another tweet. "We had a wonderful marriage & for reasons neither of us could control the bottom fell out," she said.

Sonja also expressed her disappointment over Ramona Singer not coming to her defense. "Always had her back," she tweeted. "My family is everything to me. And to say hurtful things about my marriage that I respect so much is shameful."

Dorinda explained why she got so upset with Sonja during that buzzy brunch in the Hamptons in her April 23 blog on Bravotv.com. "Let me start by saying I had every good intention going into the brunch. I wasn't going to let anything bother me, but after a half hour of me, me, me and the past again, it got to me," she wrote. "The trigger was and will ALWAYS be this ridiculous comparison of filing divorce papers to burying a loved one. Isn't one a choice? Isn't the other, last time I looked, a non-choice, a terrible unwanted ending. I guess if you are a a completely detached human being you can draw a comparison, but believe me, you would have to be completely delusional."

Carole Radziwill, who lost her husband Anthony Radiziwill to cancer in 1999, weighs in on Sonja and Dorinda's debate, below.
