The Unexpectedly Sweet Reason Paulie Connell Spends More Money Than Dolores Catania
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members revealed their spending habits during BravoCon 2023.
Love is in the air in Vegas! Especially wherever The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Dolores Catania and Paulie Connell are hanging out.
During the first "Bravoleb Couples" panel on Day 3 of BravoCon 2023, the lovebirds sat down with Summer House "vets of love" Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke to share their relationship wisdom — and a bit of shade — with moderator Imani Ellis. During the conversation, Ellis had the pairs answer some "who is more likely to" questions about each other.
One of these phrases? "Which one of you spends more money?"
Why Paulie Connell Spends More Money Than Dolores Catania
As soon as the question was asked, Dolores pointed to her beau.
"Now, Paulie, what are you spending on? What's your splurge?" Imani asked the business owner, causing him to blurt out a super sweet answer: "Dolores!"
Cue the collective "aww" from the audience. "That's the right answer," the moderator added.
"He buys my clothes. He likes to buy me gifts," shared Dolores. "But Paul, you like to buy cars."
The philanthropist noted that she thinks Paulie's gifts help balance out his passion for new vehicles, stating that she thinks he feels "guilty" for his automobile obsession.
Nevertheless, they're both getting something out of the deal.
Dolores confirmed her relationship with Paulie right around Valentine's Day 2022, when she went Instagram official with the Irishman. These days, the couple are happy in love and making wedding plans.
During the audience Q&A portion of the BravoCon 2023 panel, Dolores was asked "how you keep a man who takes care of you."

"You tell him how great he is every day," the RHONJ cast member answered, smiling with her hand on Paulie's arm. "You tell him how beautiful he is: 'You're so handsome. You're the best.' Men are easy. Just appreciate them! Show them a lot of appreciation. You know, a little pat on the head every once in a while. A little attention. Stroke the ego; it goes a long way."
