Lindsay and Danielle Reveal Exactly How They Rebuilt Their Friendship
The Summer House besties talked about their on-again friendship during BravoCon 2023.
The girls are back together! After a rough few years, former best friends Danielle Olivera and Lindsay Hubbard have returned to BFF status. But how did it all happen?
During BravoCon 2023, the Summer House ladies sat down for a Bravoverse Live Stage panel moderated by Kate Chastain. Featuring women from multiple franchises (Summer House, Winter House, and Summer House: Martha's Vineyard), the panel was aptly titled "Ladies of the Houses." Throughout the conversation, Danielle and Lindsay spent plenty of time giggling with each other, prompting Kate to comment on their obvious relationship shift.
"We're so happy to see you guys being friends again," the Below Deck alum said, prompting cheers from the audience. "Can you tell us about how that happened? Give us the details."
Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera's Friendship Got Back on Track Ahead of Summer House Season 8
According to Lindsay, the girls decided to get lunch together prior to filming Summer House Season 8. As fate would have it, their meeting turned into a four-hour affair.
"I think we decided that we wanted to work on our friendship, so we did," Danielle shared, prompting Lindsay to add (seriously, these besties are good at finishing each other's sentences) that they talked about their "feelings and emotions" and continued from there. "We went into the summer and slowly just started moving and grooving," Lindsay added.
During BravoCon 2022, the women announced that their formerly close friendship was in an "unfortunate" place.
"Listen, we have a very complicated friendship at times and we're in the middle of a complicated situation," Lindsay said at the time. "Hopefully, it'll all work out. I have a lot of faith and I hope — that when you have a very strong, solid bond and many years of friendship — that all will work out in the end. So we'll see."
Fans saw the breakdown of their relationship happen in real time during Season 7 of Summer House — and are certain to see it rebuilt when Season 8 eventually premieres.

Danielle noted that, because she originally didn't want to let her fully back into her life, it was "so hard" to keep a boundary with Lindsay over the summer.
"We kind of just like, fell into it very naturally. Like, all of a sudden our old mannerisms and similarities started coming back," she said. "And then it just kept going."
After Kate noted that the women just couldn't quit each other, they confessed their platonic love.
"I can't quit you, Lindsay," Danielle said. "I can't quit you either," her bestie responded.
