Tinsley Mortimer and Scott Kluth End Their Engagement
The RHONY alum and her fiancé have split, according to a statement Scott shared.
Scott Kluth has shared an update on his relationship with Tinsley Mortimer in a statement the CouponCabin CEO shared with PEOPLE and Us Weekly.
“After 14 months of engagement, Tinsley and I have ended our relationship, and we have been living independently for the last few months. This was an incredibly difficult decision, but it is one that I believe is best for both of us. I will always care about Tinsley and I sincerely wish her happiness and success in all that she does in the future,” Scott explained. “While I understand this news will be of interest to many, I ask for privacy and understanding during this time as I continue to work on recovering emotionally from the end of our relationship.”
Tinsley had not commented on the report as of press time.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum confirmed the news of the engagement in an Instagram post on November 26, 2019 after Scott proposed at the Chicago Water Tower in front of a group of Christmas carolers. The pair were first introduced by mutual friend and fellow RHONY alum Carole Radziwill during Season 9. In the middle of Season 12, Tinsley left the Big Apple to pursue her relationship with Scott, and moved to Chicago to be closer to him full time, after spending much of their on and off relationship in a long-distance situation.
