Does Ariana Madix Think Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval Were in Love?

The Vanderpump Rules cast member also revealed if she could ever forgive either of them.

Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss both said “I love you” on May 17’s Vanderpump Rules Season 10 finale after their affair was outed and Ariana Madix cut ties with both of them, but what does she have to say about their supposed feelings for each other? Andy Cohen asked Ariana this very question on the subsequent episode of Watch What Happens Live.

More specifically, he asked whether she believes that Tom and Raquel were “in love.”

In short, no. As Ariana put it, “I don’t really know that either them knows what that word means.”

Tom and Raquel have yet to publicly address where their relationship currently stands now that the finale has aired, but back in April, Tom said that for the time being, he and Raquel were focusing on being “really good friends.

“We’re not putting any label on it,” Tom added of their status. “We’re also just kind of taking a break.”

Raquel, meanwhile, hasn’t commented on her relationship with Tom ever since she issued a statement on Instagram in March. “Besides the indefensible circumstances surrounding our relationship, my feelings for Tom have always been sincere and born out of a loving friendship. Knowing how many people we hurt, I need to understand my choices and learn to make better ones. I need to take care of my health, work on my self-growth and take time to be ok with being alone,” she wrote. “I care for Tom and I don’t want to label anything or predict what lies ahead. Right now I need to heal.”

The statement came after Raquel first spoke to ET and issued an apology to her friends, fans, and Ariana.

That said, Raquel shouldn’t expect forgiveness from Ariana anytime soon. When asked on WWHL about the possibility of a reconciliation, Ariana simply told Andy, “That’s not happening.”

Ariana also expressed that she doesn’t believe Raquel is truly “remorseful” for the role she played in the affair.

As for Tom’s role, Ariana said he played it well. “When he would not come home or he would be out super late, I would ask him things and I would say, ‘Where were you? What were you doing?’ And he would say, ‘I was at Schwartz’s.’ And I would say, ‘Really? Let me see your phone.’ And he would say, ‘Sure, here you go.’ So I would look at his texts, I would look at his phone, and he was very good about concealing his double life and hiding all of the evidence,” she explained. “I wasn’t suspicious about an affair or about [Raquel], but something was clearly going on with him mentally and that’s what I was picking up on.”
