"This happened without either Schwartz [or] I knowing about it," Tom said.
As Vanderpump Rules viewers saw in Season 11, Episode 2, Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd made the heartbreaking decision to close their iconic Pump restaurant. As Lisa revealed in Episode 7, she later hired some of the Pump staff to work at Tom Tom, and Tom Sandoval has some thoughts on the matter.

In an interview during the episode, which aired on March 12, Lisa shared, "As difficult as it was to let Pump go, we had some staff that we loved and adored for many years, including the chef, so we moved it all to Tom Tom."
Lisa and Tom were meeting at Tom Tom, and when he arrived, he was surprised to see the former Pump sign outside. "Is this Pump now?" he quipped, to which Lisa explained, "I left that up there just to ease myself gently."

While telling Tom about Tom Tom's new chef, Lisa explained, "We're gonna make this much more dining-oriented."
Tom, who is a junior partner in the business along with Tom Schwartz, seemed taken aback by the update. "It feels a little weird that this happened without either Schwartz [or] I knowing about it," he said in an interview. In her own interview, Lisa explained, "I don't think we would ever consult a 2.5% partner."
Tom Sandoval's financial involvement in Tom Tom
Vanderpump Rules documented the process of Lisa, Ken, Sandoval, and Schwartz opening Tom Tom together in 2018, with the Toms each making a $50,000 investment for 5% of the business. On Season 10, Episode 5 of Vanderpump Rules, Lisa and Ken offered to return their investment to help them open their new bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s. “You can have your investment back, and we will still give you the option to buy back into Tom Tom within a year,” Lisa said at the time, to which Ken added, “What she means is if you become desperate and you need to buy [your partner Greg] out, or whatever, the money’s there.”
Although Schwartz and Sandoval were hesitant to take the money back, ultimately, Lisa revealed on Part 1 of the Season 10 reunion, “I gave them [the investment] back the week they opened [Schwartz & Sandy’s] because they needed money."
