Tom Schwartz Shares an Update on His Brother, Brandon, Amid His Cancer Battle

The Vanderpump Rules cast member previously opened up about how "intense" it has been while his family goes through health issues.

Vanderpump Rules fans have seen a lot from Tom Schwartz's relationship with his now ex-wife Katie Maloney and his business partnership with Tom Sandoval over the years, and they've also periodically gotten to know his triplet brothers.

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

The Schwartz & Sandy's co-owner, who hails from Minnesota, has a sister, two half sisters, a half brother, and a set of triplet brothers named Robert "Bert," William "Billy," and Brandon. The triplets have appeared on Vanderpump Rules several times since the show premiered in 2013.

After opening up about Brandon's battle with cancer earlier this year, the Winter House Season 3 cast member just shared an update on how his younger sibling is doing today.

Ahead of the Winter House Season 3 premiere, Tom took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos highlighting a "little slice of life."

While the first image in the post was from his time in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the second photo featured Tom's brother, Brandon, smiling and enjoying some food while in the hospital.

As Tom shared earlier this year, Brandon (who is a triplet along with Tom's other brothers, Bert and Billy), has been battling cancer for some time.

During Part 1 of the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion, Tom revealed that his family was going through a lot at around the time when he initially separated from his now ex-wife, Katie.

He noted that it was "the most intense moment of my life" because he dealt with "almost losing my father, my brother [Brandon] with cancer, running out of money. I was f-cking in it."

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in April 2023, Tom further opened up about his brother's cancer battle, and how it affected every facet of his life at the time.

"I was going through some real-life, high-stakes stuff. I was in the middle of a divorce, I was going bankrupt, my dad almost died, my brother got cancer…" he said. "I was consumed in my own little world."

After experiencing a difficult time in his family, it appears as if Tom is enjoying his "little slice of life."
