Culinary Prodigies Raise the Stakes on Top Chef Family Style: Get Your First Look
Marcus Samuelsson and Meghan Trainor will be joined by familiar faces from the Top Chef family when the series streams on Peacock this September.
Beginning next month, as Marcus Samuelsson puts it, "culinary prodigies on the road to stardom" will cook it out on Top Chef Family Style streaming on Peacock.
Grammy Award winner Meghan Trainor will host the series, with the acclaimed chef, James Beard Award winner, best-selling cookbook author (and Top Chef Masters alum!) serving as Head Judge. The show will include 15 talented culinary prodigies from across the nation who will compete with an adult family member.
And as Meghan adds in the trailer above, "We searched the county to find the most talented young chefs from all over America."
Top Chef Family Style will be streaming on Peacock beginning in September. And the series will also welcome a slew of familiar faces from the Top Chef family, including Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi and Head Judge Tom Colicchio, and an array of alums will be in the kitchen offering up their expertise.
The alums making appearances include Kwame Onwuachi, Shirley Chung, Nyesha Arrington, Brian Malarkey, Amar Santana, Chris Cosentino, Kelsey Barnard Clark, Sheldon Simeon, Mei Lin, Richard Blais, Melissa King, Brooke Williamson, Gregory Gourdet, Nina Compton, Stephanie Izard, and Shota Nakajima.
Other special guests and guest judges from across the culinary, sports, and entertainment worlds will also appear on the series.
At the end of the journey, only one chef duo will be crowned the winner of Top Chef Family Style along with the grand prize, including $50,000 furnished by Capital One. Along the way, the chefs will participate in special challenges for the chance to win exciting prizes, including $10,000 provided by Hellmann’s, another $10,000 sponsored by State Farm, a trip and tickets to an NFL Sunday Night football game, tickets to WWE’s Wrestlemania, a trip to Universal Orlando Resort’s three theme parks, and a visit to the Food & Wine Test Kitchen.
