Does Dr. Jackie Walters Think Buffie Set Up Toya?

Buffie Purselle may be the new girl on the block on Married to Medicine, but she's quickly learning just how easy it is to find yourself in the middle of some drama in this group.

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo and streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Buffie's Fab & Frugal Affair turned into an affair to remember when her friend and client Joseline Hernandez said some pretty shady things to Toya Bush-Harris. Toya and her husband, Dr. Eugene Harris, left the party none too pleased with Joseline's behavior or how Buffie handled the situation.

Dr. Heavenly Kimes thought there was more to the situation than we saw when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday night. "I thought it was a setup from the beginning. I thought that Buffie set up Toya," the dentist said (clip above). "I thought that maybe they had some words previously. I heard that they may have. And she sent the girl. Because she came and went straight to Toya."

And that's why Toya wasn't satisfied with Buffie's apology, according to Dr. Heavenly. "I think people want people to have accountability and say the truth, and I don't think she thought that Buffie was telling the truth," Dr. Heavenly said during the WWHL After Show. "I think she thought just like I did, that Buffie sent the girl for her."

After Show: Dr. Jackie Walters & Dr. Heavenly Kimes Talk #MarriedtoMed

Toya agreed with Dr. Heavenly's assessment on Twitter Sunday night. "@Dr_Heavenly the set up is real!!" she said. "You know that woman came for me.... but I ain’t giving her sh$!"

Buffie defended Joseline on Twitter. "@MsJoseline didn’t act a fool," she said. "I wasn’t happy about the nature of the dialogue but this disagreement is nothing when compared to other disagreements between these women."

The Married to Medicine newbie said in another tweet, "Yes @MsJoseline is my friend and family. I did what a good hostess should and deescalated the situation. I like @toyabushharris a lot - things just went left."
