Ubah Reveals an Update on Her Love Life — and Explains Why She’s Keeping Her BF a Secret
It seems a conversation about Ubah Hassan and her mystery man leads to a major fight in the RHONY Season 14 finale.
Ooh la la! Things are Ubah Hot for The Real Housewives of New York City’s Ubah Hassan and her mystery man, at least according to the supermodel Housewife.
On RHONY Season 14, Episode 13, Ubah revealed to New York Housewife Sai De Silva that she had a secret romantic interest, leaving fans wondering about the man’s identity. Ubah gave an update while appearing on the Sunday, October 8, 2023 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen about where she and her beau currently stand.
Why Ubah Hassan Is Keeping Her Boyfriend a Secret
Ubah admitted things between her and her man were “still happening,” explaining to WWHL host Andy Cohen why she wasn’t keen on revealing his identity.
Fans wondered if the marriage criticism Jessel Taank received from Sai and Erin Lichy on RHONY factored into Ubah’s decision to keep a lid on her love life, but Ubah maintained that was not the case.
“I think I kept it a secret because I’m so tired because every time I meet someone, I want everyone to see. Like my dog and everyone, and if it doesn’t work, then I have to go back and tell everyone it doesn’t work,” Ubah told Andy. “I’m so tired [of saying], ‘Oh, it doesn’t work anymore.’”
But it seems things are going well for the couple, since Ubah said they’ve been together “a really long time.”

Andy admitted to WWHL guest and Las Culturistas co-host Matt Rogers that he had the pleasure of meeting Ubah’s boyfriend, adding that he was “very handsome, strong, and yes, formidable.”

In the recent RHONY episode — in response to Sai’s husband, David Craig, questioning Ubah about her relationship status — Ubah secretly showed Sai photos on her phone, presumably of Ubah and her man.
“I’m driven by ego at the moment,” Ubah told RHONY producers. “Since David is so curious, I’m going to show his wife what is going on in my iPhone.”
Ubah became giddy when showing Sai what was in her phone, and though audiences remained in the dark, Ubah confirmed with producers that it was “very delicious.”
“It’s something very new, and I don’t want anyone else’s energy,” Ubah said. “I just want to make decisions for myself.”
Ubah added she knew Sai could keep it quiet and swore her to secrecy, claiming she was the only one in the group who knew about Ubah’s hush-hush boyfriend.
Will Ubah’s mystery man appear on the next season of RHONY?
Behind the bar on WWHL, Susie Banikarim of the In Retrospect podcast asked Ubah whether her main squeeze would appear on RHONY Season 15 if given the chance.
“That’s a question we’re going to have to ask him,” Ubah answered. She added that he could be persuaded by a sexual favor or two, but time will tell.
In a previous episode of WWHL — before mention of Ubah’s BF on RHONY — Ubah told Andy she was “very much in love and content” but did not divulge any further.
In a sneak peek of the RHONY Season 14 finale, Ubah didn’t reveal to Erin that she was a taken woman after enjoying bumper cars on ice and some conversation over coffee. Instead, she admitted to feeling a little “pinned down” by David’s questions about her relationship status.
“I didn’t find my Abe, I didn’t find my Pavit, I didn’t find my David,” she told Erin of her castmates’ husbands. “Once I do, maybe I might change my mind, and it’ll be Ubah Hot, tie the knot. But right now, I’m happy being me.”
Later, Ubah told producers she was “sure” she’d one day introduce her man to the others, as well as her personal friends and relatives, but not just yet.
“But the only person who knows about my person is Sai,” she said. “Erin is The New York Times. If I told Erin about this, everyone and their mother and their children will know.”
It seems the topic will reach a boiling point between Sai, Ubah, and Brynn Whitfield, though viewers will have to wait for the season finale.
