Mazels all around! Vanderpump Rules and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills animal advocate Lisa Vanderpump is celebrating a huge milestone: her rescue organization, Vanderpump Dogs, just celebrated two years in business! But that's not all: the Los Angeles-based rescue center boasts that they have had 900 dogs adopted to forever homes! An Instagram post on the Vanderpump Dogs Instagram reads: "2 YEARS.... 900 DOGS ADOPTED TO FOREVER HOMES.... and we’re just getting started!!!! Thank you to all of our amazing followers, supporters & dog loving friends for the continued support in helping us create a more humane life for ALL dogs, worldwide. Together we can make a difference!"
Executive Director of The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, Dr. John Sessa, was also celebrating via social media. He wrote in an Instagram post, "Happy two year anniversary to [Vanderpump Dogs] - we have saved so many lives and made such a difference in such a short time! Here’s to the staff and rescues who make the place what it is! I am so proud to be a part of this amazing team!"
Vanderpump Dogs officially opened two years ago, on March 2, 2017. In their first year of business about 500 dogs were saved and re-homed. A Vanderpump Dogs rescue center in China is also almost ready to open. Hear more about the organization in the videos above. The rescue center was also recently featured in a Season 9 episode of RHOBH; relive the drama below.
