Vanderpump Rules cast member Ariana Madix wasn't just in attendance at the 2023 White House Correspondents' Dinner on April 29 — she was also a topic in host Roy Wood Jr.'s comedy set.

How to Watch

The emcee, more specifically, poked fun at Ariana's recent break-up from Tom Sandoval, as well as his alleged infidelity involving Raquel Leviss. How? By referring to him as "that dude from Vanderpump Rules" who "got caught up."

Ariana could be seen reacting to the joke by laughing and covering her mouth in an NBC News video. She was sat next to Lisa Vanderpump, as the two were attending the event as guests of The Daily Mail. And, of course, they were both dressed to the nines for the occasion. Ariana rocked a cream-colored strapless dress designed by Needle & Thread London, along with a sheer tulle cape with frills around the collar. Lisa, meanwhile, wore a strapless black dress paired with a shimmery gold cape that cascaded to the ground.

Speaking to Extra at the event, Ariana said, "I am thrilled to be here! Daily Mail invited us, and Lisa’s like my fairy godmother. I am just excited to be here tonight.”

She also reacted to the support she's received from Vanderpump Rules fans in the wake of her and Tom's split, calling it "amazing."

As for Lisa, she told Extra she was having a bit of a "pinch me" moment, explaining, "It's such an iconic dinner, and for Daily Mail to invite us, it just really is a very special night — something you hear about and you never actually think, 'How am I, like, a little girl from England, suddenly touring the White House and at the Correspondents Dinner?' It kind of really is magical."

Ariana shared a similar sentiment ahead of the event, telling DailyMail.com, "I watch the dinner on TV every year and have always dreamed of being there in person. My wonderful late grandmother was very active in local politics and I’ve always dreamed of visiting the White House, so this is an incredible honor.”

The pair was, of course, joined by a slew of esteemed journalists and political leaders as their fellow guests, including President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Rosario Dawson, Gayle KingJerry O’Connell, and Julia Fox. The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Dr. Wendy Osefo also participated in the weekend festivities and snapped a photo with Lisa and Ariana.

They weren't the only Vanderpump Rules cast members there, though — Lala Kent also attended the 2023 WHCAD as a guest of The Los Angeles Times. She opted to don a multicolored strapless gown from Zac Posen’s spring 2013 runway collection. What's more, on the eve of the dinner, Lala and Ariana accompanied each other to the Creative Arts Agency’s WHCD Kickoff Party. There, Ariana showed up in a gold silk ruched-shoulder dress by Anthropologie, while Lala rocked a light blue twisted satin dress by Alex Perry.
