Everything to Know About James Kennedy and Ally Lewber's Relationship
Get more details on the Vanderpump Rules couple, including where they're living and what the future holds for them.
Amid the chaos, James Kennedy and Ally Lewber are taking a moment to be grateful for their relationship.
In spite of everything that has transpired among the Vanderpump Rules cast members in 2023 and throughout Season 10 and beyond, the duo has emerged stronger than ever, appearing more in love and solid than they ever have before.
After all of the madness, James and Ally have continued to stay strong, posting photos of their relationship to Instagram and keeping fans updated on everything that they’ve been up to — from going on vacation together to making themselves at home together in their new house in the Valley with James’ dog.
Here is the latest on James and Ally:
Are James Kennedy and Ally Lewber still together?
Yes, James and Ally are still together as of November 2023, and will be together for two years come January 2024.
The couple first started dating in January 2022 after first meeting at a Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras Concert in Agoura Hills, California. And it’s safe to say that things are good between them — at least, that’s what the couple said during BravoCon 2023.
“We’re now doggy parents, so yeah, things are going great,” Ally said during the Vanderpump Rules panel at BravoCon on November 3, 2023.
Are James Kennedy and Ally Lewber engaged?
No — and don’t expect a ring on Ally’s finger any time soon. The couple is in love, but they’re not in a rush to get engaged right now, with Ally noting that they’re “really content” with where they are.
“It’s been an amazing year, you know,” James said during that same BravoCon panel, agreeing with Ally.
“Obviously, I love Ally more than anything, and I see [marriage] in our future. But, again, we’re not rushing anything. It’s been an amazing year…I’m over the moon. I haven’t been this filled with joy in so long. I love our little family and our little house in Burbank, and everything is just sweet.”
So they aren’t ruling anything out just yet. “We’ve just been enjoying every day so much, so there’s no rush for that,” James told Access Hollywood on the BravoCon red carpet on November 4, 2023. “But yeah, I definitely see that in our future. I love her more than anything.”
James Kennedy and Ally Lewber are living together
In the meantime, before they get engaged, James and Ally are enjoying their new living arrangements. In June 2023, James revealed on Peacock’s Pump Up edition of Vanderpump Rules: Secrets Revealed that he bought a brand new house in the Valley after living in apartments in Los Angeles for “literally 12 or 13 years.”
The couple is now living together in a “really cute” three-bedroom house in Burbank with a pool in the back and a “dream studio” for James. They’re also cohabitating with Ally’s two cats and James’ dog Hippie.
And they’ve been busy decorating the place, gardening, and sprucing up their backyard. “I love my garden,” James told BravoTV.com in June. “I’m in very much, like, dad mode. Not dad mode, but you know what I mean? I’ve got a house now. Very grown up!”

James Kennedy and Ally Lewber had a fun summer 2023
In an interview with BravoTV.com in June 2023, James revealed that the couple would be “hanging out at the pool, working out, meditat[ing], and [enjoying] good food” in addition to focusing on their careers.
James said that he would be “DJing a lot” and releasing music this summer, while Ally would be focusing on her astrology business “which is actually killing it” James said. “She’s doing amazing things [and] connecting with so many people around the world. So that’s gonna evolve into something amazing.”
Ally also spent a little bit of time in the recording studio this past August. Hey, the couple that makes music together stays together, right?
James Kennedy and Ally Lewber are in love
The Vanderpump Rules DJ took to Instagram on March 9, 2023 to share a sweet photo of him and Ally together, captioned, “In all this madness… it’s important to know what truly matters!”
Ally left an equally sentimental comment, which read, “no ‘denying’ our love,” followed by a kiss emoji.
The relationship update comes after Ally made her Vanderpump Rules debut on the Season 10 premiere. Though the couple had already given fans some insight into their relationship on social media, viewers learned even more during the episode, including how they met. As James put it, “I met Ally about five or six weeks after Raquel [Leviss] and I broke up. A lot of people want to say that’s really soon, but you can’t put a f--king date on love.”
He went on to tell Lisa Vanderpump that he and Ally had already moved in together too. She was taken aback by the admission, but James insisted that he “didn’t jump right back in” too soon after he and Raquel ended their engagement.
Not only that, but he also called Ally “the love of my life.”
“I’ve never felt so connected to someone,” James added.
