Raquel Leviss Responds to Katie Maloney Calling Her a “Fan Girl”
The Vanderpump Rules cast members traded words after Raquel shared a video that showed her in a Tom Tom sweatshirt.
Vanderpump Rules’ Katie Maloney and Raquel Leviss’ latest back-and-forth has us keeping our eyes peeled on social media.
The social media exchange began when a fan-run Instagram account shared a photo of Raquel sporting a Tom Tom sweatshirt from Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval’s bar, and Katie commented, “[She’s] a fan girl. Started as a fan of the show and now a fan of the [Toms].”
Another Instagram account posted a screen grab of Katie’s comment, prompting Raquel to weigh in on the matter. “I admit… I am a fan of the [Toms],” she wrote.
Things didn’t end there, though. In response to a comment asking if Raquel meant Tom Tom or Tom Schwartz himself — who she was rumored to be “making out” with at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ August wedding in Mexico — Raquel replied, “I’m definitely a fan of the restaurant… best vibe, food and drinks in WeHo in my opinion. But I’m also a fan of Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval!! Here to support their business endeavors.”
Others eventually began to take notice of the comments, including Scheana and Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard. However, neither Raquel nor Katie left any additional comments.
The exchange comes after BravoCon 2022, where Raquel’s ex, James Kennedy, publicly called out the rumors about her and Schwartz during a special edition of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Tom later described the moment as “awkward.”
“I kind of shut down,” Schwartz told Page Six. “I kind of just put my head down and clicked my heels together and was hoping I could disappear.”
Added Schwartz, “You’ll see how it plays out this season. There’s a build-up to it, and there’s a lot of fallout afterwards. I’m still processing it.”
