Katie Maloney’s 2023 Plans Include the “Bounce Back of a Lifetime”

The Vanderpump Rules cast member also has “revenge” on her mind in the new year.

New year, new mentality for Katie Maloney.

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

The former Vanderpump Rules SUR-ver reposted a quote from Gary Janetti’s Instagram feed to her own Story to share her unique resolution for the year. “For me, 2023 is going to be all about revenge,” the original post reads. Katie added her own message to the post.

“Done,” she wrote, along with a crying-laughing emoji. “It’s over for these hoes.” Katie further drove home her "revenge" point when she later posted an Instagram Story of a selfie in a car.

“The bounce back of a lifetime,” she wrote on the Story.

Following a challenging 2022, there’s a strong chance that the You’re Gonna Love Me podcast host is looking forward to having a clean slate in the new year.

In March, Katie and her then-husband, Tom Schwartz, announced their separation on their Instagram pages after less than three years of legal marriage. (The couple tied the knot on Season 5 of Vanderpump Rules in 2016, but they didn’t make things official until 2019.)

“After 12 years on an adventure through life together, Tom and I are ending our marriage,” Katie wrote in part of her statement on Instagram on March 15. “This ending is not met with any animosity, no sides to choose…”

“Fully respect Katie’s decision, and we’ve had healthy, productive conversations about it,” Tom added in his own separate post. “It would be far sadder if she decided to stay with me whilst unhappy.”

While Tom noted in his initial post that he didn’t want to mention the word “divorce” yet, the exes ended up finalizing their split in October.

Since announcing their breakup, Katie and Tom have each looked toward moving on. Tom and Raquel Leviss were rumored to have been “making out” at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ wedding in August (and Katie later shared that she had a talk with her ex about not dating “within [the] friend group”), while Katie shared that she was casually dating a 25-year-old when she attended BravoCon 2022 in October.

However, during a December 1 appearance on The Viall Files podcast, Katie offered a different update to her dating life.

“I haven’t been wanting to get into anything serious, obviously, because I’m still trying to make myself a priority and make my happiness a priority,” she explained. “But I’m still open to getting to know people, and who knows, if the man of my dreams walks in tomorrow, I’ll know it then.”

Fans now know that “revenge” and a major “bounce back” are on Katie’s mind for her 2023 goals, but do they know what her friends think about her split from Tom? Find out what Katie’s bestie, Lala Kent, had to say about the divorce by pressing play on the video above.
