Here’s the Latest Update on Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz’s Divorce (UPDATE)

UPDATE (OCT. 13, 1:29 P.M.): According to Us Weekly, Vanderpump Rules 'Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz are officially divorced.The publication reports that the judgment was entered on Wednesday, October 12.

Six months after they confirmed the news of their divorce, there is a new development for Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz post-split. According to E! News, the Vanderpump Rules exes have reached a settlement in their divorce.

E! News further reports that while the settlement still needs to be signed off by a judge, the former spouses waived any claims to current or future spousal support and stated they’d come to an uncontested agreement on the division of their shared assets as a part of their settlement.

Just last month, during an appearance on Katie’s podcast, You’re Gonna Love Me, they addressed how they were feeling about their split and impending divorce. “Divorce, no matter what… it still is a mindf--k,” Katie explained, likening the process to a business transaction during the August episode of her podcast. Tom added that, in a divorce, everything gets “reduced to, like, a piece of paper that we sign and then it’s just over. … [It’s] the least romantic thing.”

Even still, they shared during the episode that they were on relatively good terms, noting at the time that they were “still technically married until later this year.”
