The original story continues below.

Lisa Vanderpump and Ariana Madix are headed to Washington D.C. The Vanderpump Rules cast members are set to attend the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner on April 29 as guests of DailyMail.com. Both Lisa and Ariana are feeling pretty jazzed about the coveted invitation.

"I don't know what's more complicated — reality television or politics," Lisa joked with DailyMail.com. "I guess I'll find out on Saturday evening." She added: "'I'm delighted to be attending."

Meanwhile, Ariana must have manifested this. "I watch the dinner on TV every year and have always dreamed of being there in person," she told Daily Mail. "My wonderful late grandmother was very active in local politics and I've always dreamed of visiting the White House, so this is an incredible honor."

This won't be Lisa's first time on Capitol Hill. In 2016, the restaurant owner spent time in D.C. to support House Resolution 752. The resolution was aimed at "condemning the Dog Meat Festival in Yulin, China, and urging China to end the dog meat trade." And anyone who knows Lisa knows that she's a staunch advocate for animal rights.

As Daily Mail pointed out, the Vanderpump Rules boss was also an avid supporter of the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act. The act, which was unanimously passed by Congress, makes certain types of animal abuse a felony.

While Lisa and Ariana will be guests at the April 29 event, they are no strangers to hosting lavish affairs themselves. On the March 29 episode of Vanderpump Rules, the restaurateur teamed up with Ariana to throw a surprise bridal shower for Scheana Shay.

The event took place in Lisa's gorgeous backyard, and each detail was more beautiful than the last. Taking in the breathtaking decor, Ariana said to Lisa "It looks beautiful."  And indeed, it did!

The tranquil yard at Villa Rosa was filled with gorgeously decorated tables and plush seating areas. Ariana was particularly enthusiastic about the flower arrangements, which were pink and white with pops of purple. "Smell this one," she instructed. "Hyacinths have the best smell."

Lisa and Ariana are both ace entertainers, and they'll have another thing in common when Ariana opens an eatery of her own. As Vanderpump Rules viewers have seen on Season 10, Ariana and her castmate Katie Maloney are in the throes of opening a sandwich shop called Something About Her. (Its sandwiches will be delicious — and we can already vouch for its merch.)

On March 8, Lisa addressed a rumor about her involvement in the sandwich shop when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Andy asked Lisa on behalf of a viewer at home  if she was "still planning on investing in Something About Her," or if she had already.” Lisa said: “I was never planning [on investing].”

She continued: “I’m there to support [Ariana and Katie.] I don’t want to be in business with every single person who works for me, but I’m there to support them.”
