Lisa Vanderpump Injured in a Horseback Riding Accident
The Vanderpump Rules boss is recovering following an incident over the weekend, according to a report.
Vanderpump Rules' Lisa Vanderpump was reportedly hospitalized after falling off a horse during a ride over the weekend.
According to TMZ, Lisa injured herself on Sunday (January 30) when riding a horse at a Los Angeles area riding club when she fell off the animal, who, the website notes, she has been familiar with for about six years, after it got scared during the ride and she was bucked off. Lisa went over the front of the horse, an eyewitness noted to the publication.
According to the website, she was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and her husband, Ken Todd, was with her at the hospital. She reportedly broke her leg in two places above her ankle and will have to have surgery. Lisa also reportedly bruised her back in the fall. The report notes that she'll be fine once her injuries heal.
LVP is an animal advocate and has long been a fan of horses. She not only has two mini horses, Diamonds and Rosé (who she even watches Vanderpump Rules with), but she is an avid equestrian who has always shared her love of horses with fans.
She even adopted a white stallion named Prince Tardon after he was retired from a horse show back in 2016. "I love animals. I really do and I think I'm the lucky one in this situation," she said at the time. Lisa, of course, also shares a strong passion for horses with Ariana Madix.
