Lisa Vanderpump Reflects on the Ups and Downs of Vanderpump Rules at Season 8 Premiere Party
The SUR boss keeps it real ahead of the new season.
Ain't no party like a Vanderpump Rules season premiere party — and the cast stepped out to celebrate the new season on Monday (January 6) ahead of the Tuesday, January 7 debut of Season 8. (Sneak a peek of the premiere above). The wild bash all went down at Hyde in Los Angeles and included not only some rousing speeches, but also a performance from hip hop legend, Too $hort.
Lisa Vanderpump took some out to also pay homage to the show's past — as well as its future — during her passionate speech at the fête.
"I would like to say I don't know where that time has gone, but I actually do because we have 300 episodes to prove it that we look back on and we will kind of enjoy these incredible moments," she told the room. "It has been difficult for some of us. I know I love each and everyone of the cast and sometimes it's very challenging being on a reality show. We have new people joining the cast. But it's also an incredible bonding experience."
One of those newbies, Lala Kent's fiancé Randall Emmett, applauded LVP during his comments at the party.
"I just want to say thank you. You guys deserve everything. It's magical. It's like lightning in a bottle," he gushed. "I just want to say thank you. You guys have had a hit show for 8 [seasons]. You guys deserve everything. I can't believe how gracious you all were to me to let me into this tight-knit family. The crew, the cast. Lisa thank you for being my friend. You are a f--king queen... And Lala, obviously, you're my queen."
And, as you can see from the photos taken inside the bash, fun was had by all.
And, Kristen Doute was quick to remind everyone on Instagram where it all began.
