Vicki Gunvalson Had the Travel Story From Hell This Christmas

Vicki Gunvalson loves her family time—just check out the lengths she went to while hosting her family’s Thanksgiving meal this year. For her holiday vacation with boyfriend Steve Lodge, daughter Briana Culberson, son-in-law Ryan Culberson, and grandkids Troy and Owen, Vicki’s heading to Orlando for the Disney cruise… but her travel plans seemed to be a bit more complicated than expected.

On her Instagram, Vicki shared that her flight to Florida had already been delayed by six hours, but honestly, her attitude about the whole fiasco is really something else. While other people might have had a fit, Vicki’s photo shows the entire family smiling with all their suitcases in front of a Christmas tree at the airport. “We’re stuck in the airport, flight has been delayed now over 6 hours!” she wrote in her caption. “Worse case we’ll have to rent a FAMILY VAN and drive through the night to Orlando! Disney Cruise or bust!#familyvan#wherearethecameraswhenweneedthem#familyadventure#alwayschaos.”

Honestly, though, Vicki’s jokes show she isn’t taking the whole thing too seriously, and even her Instagram stories show that the kids are also hanging in there, playing with their dad’s phone and some other games. Finally, the plane arrives (“We are getting restless!” writes Vicki), and the gang make it to Orlando with a huge family van ready to take them to the cruise. Turns out, there was no need to drive all the way down there… but with Vicki’s cheerful attitude, we don’t think it would’ve have been too bad of a journey.
