Weeks after performing a sold-out show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Kandi Burruss gave fans another wholesome peek into her everyday family life. The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom shared a few videos of her 3-year-old daughter’s swim lessons with Tatum Morris — a former professional basketball player who now owns Just Us Swim Kids. According to its website, the business is primarily known for its Swim Float Survive program that aims to equip youngsters with essential water safety skills.

Kandi praises her daughter’s swim skills

“A day in the life of [Blaze Tucker] taking swim lessons!” Kandi captioned the July 19 post. “She’s doing so good! [Just Us Swim Kids] is the best!”

The video began with a shot of Blaze trying on her mom’s shoes while wearing an adorable swimsuit with SpongeBob SquarePants characters. The clip then cut to the little girl in a pool with Morris as well as her big brother, Ace Wells Tucker. While it’s unclear when Blaze had her first lesson, she’s obviously quite comfortable in the water, as she can be seen splashing away in the pool with a little help from Morris.

“Look at her! You better go, girl!” Kandi could be heard saying in an Instagram Story. “You better go, Blaze. Let’s see her do it again. Woohoo! Yaaaaay! Good job, Blaze.”

The Grammy winner then directed her followers to Blaze’s Instagram account to check out her back float.

“I’m really getting the hang of this swimming thing,” the caption read.

Todd Tucker calls Blaze his “little mermaid”

Kandi’s husband, Todd Tucker, also shared their daughter’s progress on his Instagram page, where he emphasized the importance of children’s swim lessons.

The post captured his daughter sitting on the edge of the pool before she confidently dove in and paddled her way toward Morris.

“My little mermaid,” he captioned the video.

Kandi and Blaze attend a kid’s party with RHOA alums

Hours after the swim lesson, Kandi returned to Instagram to share more photos from Blaze’s weekend. The mother and daughter attended a Disney Princess–themed party for Story, the daughter of Snob Life founder Ming Lee. The event included numerous actors dressed up as Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Elsa, and Princess Tiana, as well as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. RHOA alums Porsha Williams and Shamari DeVoe also attended the celebration with their children.
