Wendy Osefo's Home Burglarized During Vacation: "My Family and I Are Devastated"
The RHOP cast member confirmed no one was home at the time of the crime: "... For that we feel very blessed."
Wendy Osefo had an unfortunate — and quite scary — homecoming.
The Real Housewives of Potomac mom spent the past week vacationing in Jamaica alongside her husband, Eddie Osefo, and their three sons, Kamryn Kapri, Kruz, and Karter. Wendy documented the trip on her social media page, where she posted photos of her and her family soaking up the Caribbean sun at the Azul Beach Resort Negril; however, the dreamy getaway concluded on a nightmarish note, as Wendy learned her home had been burglarized during her vacation.
Wendy Osefo addresses her burglary: "Thank God no one was home"
“My family and I are devastated and feel violated by this intrusion,” the professor said in a statement to TMZ. “We thank God no one was home … so for that we feel very blessed. Material things can always be replaced.”

According to Page Six, the burglary was reported to law enforcement on Sunday, April 7, although it’s unclear when the crime took place. A spokesman for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation is ongoing but declined to provide details on the burglary, including what possessions were swiped.
Other Housewives who've experienced home invasions
Wendy isn’t the first Housewife to be targeted by thieves. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards had a similar experience in 2017 when her Encino home was burglarized while she was vacationing in Aspen.
About four years later, Kyle’s RHOBH castmate Dorit Kemsley was robbed by three armed men inside her Encino home. The Beverly Hills mom said the invasion occurred shortly at 10 p.m. on October 27, 2001, as she was lying in bed. Her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, was in London at the time, while her two young children — son Jagger and daughter Phoenix — were sleeping in their rooms down the hall.
Dorit opened up about the incident in a 2021 interview with Extra, saying she was grateful that her children weren’t hurt.
“It’s very raw,” she said about the experience. “But you know what, I have to keep things as normal as possible for my kids, because I got really lucky. I fought for my and my kids’ lives, and I got really lucky. And I got lucky, and after that, no matter what that experience was, for the days that followed, I just kept thanking God that I got out of there, and my kids didn’t wake up, and they didn’t know anything about it.”
