Dr. Wendy Osefo is a professional who wears many titles, including an author, an assistant professor, a political commentator, an entrepreneur, a wife, and a mom of three.
As if Wendy’s career accomplishments weren’t already impressive, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member is now the host of her own talk show, The Dr. Wendy Show, which she launched in 2023 and she has been sharing more info on during the current Season 8 of RHOP.
Viewers learned about Wendy’s latest career move on earlier this season on RHOP when she started scouting out potential sets to film her project ahead of the talk show's season finale, slated for this week. “This show is going to be different,” she explained in a confessional interview earlier this season on RHOP during Season 8, Episode 3. “It is going to talk about serious issues, but also issues that we talk about every day with our friends.”

Details on Wendy Osefo's Talk Show
The Dr. Wendy Show launched on November 20, 2023. Wendy uploads new episodes to her YouTube channel every Monday, where she discusses everything from "politics, to pop culture, to family life, to news of the day, and even sprinkle in some RHOP tea."
"This talk show is going to speak to everything," Wendy said in the pilot, uploaded to her YouTube channel in November 2023. "But let this first episode with you guys just be real."
"I don't have it all figured out," she added. "I don't know what I'm doing. I don't know if it's going to work. But what I do know is I have something in my heart that keeps me up every day and every night. And that something has been in my heart for a long time."
Wendy’s talk show consists of 11 episodes, with the season finale set for March 18. “It’s finally here!! Catch the Season One FINALE of The Dr. Wendy Show,” the RHOP ‘Wife shared on X (formerly Twitter) along with a sneak peek clip of the sit-down. “Thank you to my amazing guests for being the definition of Black Girl Magic.”
In the trailer for Wendy's talk show's season finale, Wendy shares her opinion about finding black girl magic "exhausting" to live up to. The Nigerian professional added: "It's exhausting to exist and to thrive in a world, in a space that doesn't want to see you succeed."
Details on Wendy Osefo's Talk Show Budget Issues Explained
While the season 1 finale of The Dr. Wendy Show doesn't go live until March 18 at 4 p.m., Bravo fans got a BTS look at Wendy filming the final episode on Season 8, Episode 17 of RHOP, where she experienced one issue - she had exceeded her budget.
"The budget is gone, okay," Wendy said in the clip above before flashing to a shot of her husband, Eddie Osefo, writing her a check for $50,000. "We have exceeded the 20k budget."
Although, Wendy found herself being over-budget for her project, she noted that it was for good measure. "When you're a commentator, you have the privilege of giving your five-minute take on something and leaving," Wendy explained. "But when it's your show, the success depends on whether people tune in to me."
Who are the guests on Wendy Osefo's talk show?
On select episodes of The Dr. Wendy Show, the host brings in a few notable guests to help weigh in on the worthy topics of the day. As you can see in the video above, Wendy has enlisted the likes of White House correspondent April Ryan, The Jasmine Brand’s Jasmine Brand, Black Girls Vote’s Nykidra Robinson, and TV host Lindsey Granger.
Wendy has even co-hosted the talk show alongside her husband Eddie. He appeared in Episode 7 of the online series, where the couple talked about a variety of subjects, such as entrepreneurship, their Nigerian heritage, and their loving marriage.
