Dolores Catania "Couldn't Be Happier" as Her Kids, Frankie and Gabby, Share Updates on Their Careers
The RHONJ mom and her family gathered to celebrate Frankie's big career move.
The Catania kids of The Real Housewives of New Jersey are booked and busy.
We learned more about their lives today during a family dinner with Dolores Catania, Frank Catania, and their partners (Paul "Paulie" Connell and Brittany Ann Mattessich, respectively).
"Frank wanted to have this dinner celebrating Frankie's dream job with just the four of us," Dolores revealed about the celebratory meal featured in Episode 14, Season 13 of RHONJ, which aired on May 9. "However, Paul is now a part of our family dynamic and this is how I want it to be. And I know Frank likes to bust balls and sometimes things get carried away, but nobody busts balls more than an Irishman."
During the aforementioned meal, the group discussed how much their family has evolved as of late, as both the younger Catanias (who are now all grown up), Gabby Catania and Frankie Catania, opened up more about their careers today.
What Frankie Catania, 23, Does For a Living Today
Frankie, who previously worked for Teresa Giudice's husband Luis "Louie" Ruelas, and has experience working in asset management, revealed a bit about the new chapter in his career.
"I'm going to be starting a new position soon," he said without going into too many details about the gig. "I'm very excited."
"Nobody is more prepared than you," dad Frank shared, with sister Gabby adding, "I don't know anybody in this world with the work ethic like him."
What Gabby Catania, 26, Does For a Living Today
Dolores was quick to point out that Gabby also has an incredible dedication to her career: "[At] 3 years old, you said 'I'm going to be a dog doctor." As it turns out, she is now a dog, cat, bird, etc doctor."
Gabby works as a vet. She added in the episode that she and her brother's biggest vice in life is their jobs. "We're both workaholics."
Where Do Frankie and Gabby Live?
Dolores shared with BravoTV.com recently that while she lives with Paulie, her two kids live in her home along with their many pets. "I can't sell the house. It's become a dog shelter," she joked. "With my daughter and my son there, there [are] about seven dogs, and everybody's living happily in the house that I've redone. So, it's there to stay."
The Extended Catania Family Explained
When it's pointed out in Tuesday's episode that the Catania family is expanding with the addition of Dolores' BF, Paulie, and Frank's girlfriend, Brittany, Frankie says, "We [Gaby and I] tell each other all the time how nice it is."
And while dad Frank admits he was "so worried" that all the new people in their family would change the "dynamic," he admitted in a confessional that "now looking around this table, I see we haven't lost our family dynamic — the family's getting bigger." "
"I couldn't be happier," Dolores added back at the table.
Paul's Family and Life Before RHONJ
During the dinner in Tuesday's episode, Paul, who revealed he was 23 when he moved to the U.S. from Ireland and worked for a time as a receptionist when he first moved to the States, shared that he has a good relationship with his ex-wife, with whom he has sons (ages 20 and 17). Gabby added, "I see a lot of us in Paulie's kids too because those boys are just incredible."
