The Daily Dish Life After Bravo

What Ever Happened to Dwight Eubanks?

The former frenemy of NeNe Leakes got a new nose on 'Botched' and plans to launch a men's lingerie line.

Looking back at our shows, we often wonder about the people who've left. Where did they go when their moment in the Bravo spotlight was over? What are they up to now? Each week, we'll be looking into the lives of one of these familiar faces. Today, it’s Dwight Eubanks from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

During RHOA’s first two seasons, Dwight entertained audiences as NeNe Leakes’ quick-witted sidekick. However, their relationship went awry during Season 3 as his alliance seemingly shifted toward his longtime pal, Phaedra Parks.

So, what happened to Dwight after his RHOA departure? He had a string of bad luck after back-to-back run-ins with the boys in blue. Originally snagged for driving on a suspended license in 2011, Dwight was arrested again on February 28, 2014 after being pulled over in Dekalb County, Georgia when officers asked for his license and he was unable to produce a current ID.

With his legal issues now seemingly in the rear view mirror, Dwight recently found himself in the spotlight again, but this time for a nose job. The Real Housewives world became a little smaller last night when Dwight appeared on the hit E! show, Botched, where fellow Housewives franchise mainstays Dr. Paul Nassif and Dr. Terry Dubrow remedied his long-standing battle with his beak.

The episode featured Dwight coming to Paul and Terry to fix his nose, which apparently had not been working for years, leaving Dwight dependent on breathing from his mouth. In this clip, Dwight explains his reasoning for the nose job to his mother, Queen.

Dwight even threw a funeral for his old nose, revealing in full force the eccentric behavior he was known for on RHOA. “The old nose is dead, we have to bury it. But, not in joy, but in joy,” he says. Dwight was elated with his successful surgery.  “The Lord taught me a lesson, and boy, did he give me an ass-whoopin’,” he says. “I’m forever grateful for this whole process, and it has changed my life.”

For fans wondering what came of Dwight’s relationship with NeNe, they might be surprised to know they’ve actually buried the hatchet to a degree. “I am cordial with NeNe. We have made up," he says. "We don’t agree on many things but we have moved on and our relationship is solid."

Even with all the RHOA drama, he recalls his time on the show fondly. “Atlanta Housewives has given me celebrity,” he explains. “I can’t even walk down the street without someone wanting to chat or get my autograph. I have had great fun being on the show.”

So, with his new nose in tact, what’s next for Dwight? While he moonlighted as a party planner for Phaedra, Dwight’s career has actually always been in the beauty industry as a coveted makeup artist, hairstylist and high-end salon owner. Now, he hopes to expand his beauty empire into the fashion world by launching a men’s lingerie line.

“My calendar is packed with public appearances and I continue to support charities and causes I believe in,” he reveals. “I am also pushing forward with my men’s lingerie line. I believe I am in a state of grace, and I am loving my life and spreading the love.”
