Vanderpump Rules fans were first introduced to Peter Madrigal when Season 1 premiered way back in 2013, and in the years since then, he's continued to pop up on the show every once in a while because of his managerial position at Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR.
Scheana Shay, meanwhile, has long moved on from her role as a SURver at the West Hollywood restaurant. But seeing as how she and Peter were once close friends, does that mean they stay in touch today?

Are Peter Madrigal and Scheana Shay still friends?
Yes, indeed. As Scheana told The Daily Dish in February, "I love Peter. Peter is like extended family to me. I've always just felt a connection to him."
As such, she believes that Vanderpump Rules fans "need a little more pirate Pete" in their lives. "I really love him," Scheana added.
Peter Madrigal's Role at SUR
Though Peter was hired as a busboy more than 15 years ago, he eventually worked his way up to a server/bartender position. In 2011, he obtained a managerial role that he's held ever since.
Fast-forward to now, and Peter remains committed to his work at SUR. As he put it on the Jamie All Over podcast in late 2022, "I’m always working. I’m always at SUR.”
As recently as just earlier this year, he even posted a sweet ode to his boss, LVP, on Instagram.
What Peter Madrigal Is Up to Today
Even when Peter's not working at SUR, he keeps busy with a few side hustles, too. “I started my own production company that I’m really focused on right now,” he said on the same podcast. “[I’m] getting projects done. I have a bunch of projects that I’m working on at the moment. So that’s one of my main focuses for next year.”
Peter documents his other adventures on his Instagram. In the past year, he's done everything from host parties at BravoCon 2023 to dress up in his signature costume and attend a pirate festival.
