We Have Some New Details About What's Next for Riley Burruss
Kandi Burruss and her RHOA daughter share an update on her college plans.
Last month, Kandi Burruss confirmed that daughter Riley Burruss had recently "sent in her college application to her dream school." And now, we're learning a bit more about what's next for The Real Housewives of Atlanta teen. On a recent episode of Kandi's YouTube show, she confirmed that her daughter is looking to go to college in NYC after completing an internship at a law practice there over the summer.
"Yes, I am [still thinking about law]," Riley said. "[I] still want to go to school there [in NYC]. Nothing's changed ... it's definitely something to get used to. It's an environment and, I mean, clearly different from home. It was an adjustment all around."
Kandi then opened up about how she is prepping to send her little girl off to the Big Apple in the near future, should she get accepted to an NYC-based college. "I don't know if I'm prepared for Riley to be totally gone," Kandi shared in the recent episode of her YouTube show. "Obviously she went and did trips and did whatever before, but what scares me this time around I always know [she's] saying, 'When I turn 18, I ain't coming back.'"
Kandi emphasized she's afraid Riley won't return to Atlanta after school, adding, comically, "Oh my baby's gonna leave and not come back."
